- Anesthesia Time: Approx. 6-8 hours. Can be a little more or a little less depending on skin type, body part and person.
Step of application:
- Wash the area receiving treatment with soap and water.
- Cover a hot towel on the area for 5 Minutes. Dry area completely.
- Apply a thick amount of TKTX numbing cream to the area and rub in thoroughly.
- After rubbing into the skin, apply a 2nd heavy layer of TKTX cream (1/8″ or 2-3 mm thick) over the area.
- Cover the TKTX cream with plastic wrap and keep warm. The heat under the plasti wrap helps activate the cream and keeps the cream from drying out.
- Leave TKTX cream and wrap in place for 25-60 minutes max.
- Clean the cream of thoroughly with soap and water. Dry area completely.
- You are good to go!
- Skin typically remains numb for 6 – 8 hours depending on skin type and location on your body.
For faster numbing:
- Cover the wrapped plastic area with a hot towel (50℃~60℃)
- Keep it on for 5-10 minutes (it will become numb after 20-25 minutes)
